British Parliamentary Debating Competition
Registrations are now open for the British Parliamentary (BP) Debating Competition, Western Australia’s only BP-format tournament. Compete in pairs across a one-day event featuring three preliminary rounds, followed by two final rounds.
Schools Debating Competition
The Schools Debating Competition is WADL's flagship debating championship. Featuring over 1,500 students from over 30 schools across WA, the Schools Debating Competition is one of Australia's largest state-wide debating championships.
What We Do
The Western Australian Debating League is a nonprofit charity. We deliver structured debating programs for school students across Western Australia, helping schools run competitions and build students’ communication, critical thinking, and confidence.
